At Scale, we believe that AI will dramatically improve the world, and our mission is to accelerate the development of AI. To help achieve this mission, we are looking for a Talent & Workplace Specialist to help build out and support our operations team in St. Louis.

You will:

  • Manage the workplace in St. Louis:
  • Keep office kitchens, restrooms and reception areas fully stocked and monitor inventory.
  • Be the face of the St Louis Scale office as you interact with visitors and employees at reception and ensure they have a positive, memorable experience.
  • Team up with IT to set up new hire workstations and make sure new hires have everything needed to have a productive first day.
  • Respond to any repairs or maintenance issues that need attention. 
  • Source and action ideas for office improvements
  • Organize events and create sense of community in the office
  • Collaborate with the HR Manager to execute on projects such as vendor assessment and onboarding. 
  • Lead recruiting efforts for our St. Louis Ops Team: 
  • Drive and lead the full-lifecycle recruitment process from initial reach out to offer to close for our QA team.
  • Execute on our existing hiring and interview process. Identify & implement ways to make our existing interview process more efficient.
  • Collaborate with the operations team and hiring partners to build a transparent interview experience.
  • Conduct phone interviews to determine initial fit for candidates
  • Identify channels for generating strong applicants. Respond quickly to applicants and referrals
  • Source passive candidates as needed to meet hiring goals

Ideally you'll have:

  • 1+ years of recruiting or sourcing experience
  • Strong attention to detail
  • A bias towards action and a strong sense of urgency
  • Ability to use data - both quantitative and qualitative - to inform decisions
  • Ability to distill complex information into a consumable and organized format with a focus on content, tone and structure.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • BS/BA degree OR equivalent work experience.
