Enterprise Account Executive - Federal

Scale AI is the leader for accelerating the development of AI applications, in advanced and complex use cases.  We're on a path where we're working on large federal opportunities which has precipitated our need to bring in a proven leader in this space who will be the first hire to spearhead scale's federal business.

This leader should have considerable relationships and experience building a book of business for technology sales in the federal sector having previous success working with the Department of Defense.  This leader will have the ability to hire a team within the calendar year of 2020. They have worked on software solutions to federal government and have successful created all third party relationships and executed related agreements and purchases with the federal government. They’ve earned respect by interacting with both technical and business leaders to align and showcase AI capabilities, applications and use cases that transform a customer’s business.

You will:
  • Lead Scale's federal business with the ability to hire a team within the calendar year of 2020
  • Align with Scale AI’s strategic objectives, manage and grow revenue in our federal sector, and drive customer success at all levels
  • Convey public and acquired intelligence about customers technology footprints, strategic growth plans, technology strategies, and competitive landscape and trends in the federal sector
  • Own your end to end sales cycle while working with and leveraging an extended team of sales development, product/technical experts, legal team members, and executives to progress opportunities and drive large scale deals
  • Develop relationships at all levels of an organization – executives, influencers and decision-makers
  • Lead and close high-value customers and transactions, build pipeline, forecast business, and regularly communicate key updates
Ideally you'd have:
  • Minimum 7+ years of experience exceeding sales goals selling into the federal sector
  • Experience selling complex software solutions
  • Experience creating new reseller agreements and all other third party relationships/partnerships necessary to execute first deals with federal gov’t
  • Proven negotiation and closing skills
  • Demonstrated success in winning new accounts and creating pipeline in new markets
  • A network of strong relationships in the federal sector that can be leveraged for getting off to a fast start
