Scale AI is the leader for accelerating the development of AI applications in the automotive and autonomous vehicle space. AI will have a transformational impact on this industry and we’re looking for an experienced, top-performing Account Executive to join us on this journey. This Account Executive should have considerable relationships and experience building a book of business for technology sales in the automotive and related OEM sector. They should have experience developing a partner ecosystem and executing a ‘land and expand’ strategy to win new logos and grow strategic accounts. This individual should have a successful track record and have established a reputation for inspiring, challenging, and advising their customers, partners, and teammates. They’ve earned respect by interacting with both technical and business leaders to align and showcase AI capabilities, applications and use cases that transform a customer’s business.
Ideally you'd have:
- Align with Scale AI’s strategic objectives, manage and grow revenue in our automotive sector, and drive customer success at all levels
- Convey public and acquired intelligence about customers technology footprints, strategic growth plans, technology strategies, and competitive landscape and trends
- Own your end to end sales cycle while working with and leveraging an extended team of sales development, product/technical experts, legal team members, and executives to progress opportunities and drive large scale deals
- Develop relationships at all levels of an organization – executives, influencers and decision-makers
- Lead and close high-value customers and transactions, build pipeline, forecast business, and regularly communicate key updates
- Minimum 5+ years of experience exceeding sales goals selling into the automotive sector
- BA/BS or equivalent educational background
- Fast-moving start-up and knowledge of AI/machine learning concepts and use cases
- Proven negotiation and closing skills
- Demonstrated success in winning new accounts and creating pipeline in new markets
- A network of strong relationships in the automotive sector that can be leveraged for getting off to a fast start
