Employee Experience Lead

As our company scales, creating an inclusive environment where individuals are able to connect with teammates and achieve “Team Flow” is a top priority for the team.  In order to accomplish this, we are building out an Employee Experience Team and are looking to hire our first Employee Experience Lead. 

In this role, you will be a strategic leader in defining Scale’s annual in-person and remote events calendar, directly impacting the culture and employee experience at Scale. You will work with and report to the Employee Experience Manager to ensure Scale is providing an eclectic mix of events that cater to different interests and are accessible to all. You will not only oversee and execute company-wide events, but you will also create a playbook for manager-lead events and serve as a consultant to ensure managers are taking time to develop their team’s culture through events.

You will:

  • Own in-person and remote events in their entirety: from ideation, planning, marketing and execution across all Scale offices including San Francisco, St. Louis and DC.
  • Manage vendor relationships to ensure we are producing top-tier and unique events.
  • Run creative and memorable marketing campaigns via Slack and other internal platforms for events and company initiatives.
  • Create an effective feedback loop to track and understand event metrics to inform future events and initiatives. 
  • Create a playbook and additional resources to support manager-lead events and consult on their execution. 
  • Manage gifting for various celebrations including work anniversaries, births and other life events.
  • Contribute to and/or own various employee experience projects as they arise.
