We are building the Finance team to help make data-driven and financially sound decisions for Scale. The Finance team is responsible for improving strategic, financial and operational decisions by partnering with the leadership team in making critical decisions across Scale.  

The Finance team is responsible for owning the company’s operating model, helping to drive quarterly and annual strategic planning processes, optimally deploying the company's resources to maximize value creation, and performing financial analyses in partnership with all departments across the company. You will have a unique opportunity to work closely with department heads on real-time high-priority business issues and use quantitative insights to drive better decision-making across Scale. You will

  • Lead the annual financial planning process and collaborate closely with our Strategic Finance team on the creation of the company’s operating model and LRP process and be a thought partner to all business leaders and help resolve competing business priorities and determine proper investment allocation by department
  • Lead, grow and develop a team of high performing finance professionals responsible for planning, business partnership, and ad-hoc strategic analysis, such as LTV, pricing, or investment evaluations
  • Partner with other finance areas (Accounting and Strategic Finance) to support month-end close, flux review processes, and deliver high-quality financial reporting, close packages, and disclosures
  • Create internal executive reporting including close, financial reporting and other management presentations
  • Lead the preparation of financial analysis, business insights and presentation materials for regular financial updates to the leadership team
  • Own and create financial models, including forecasting, budgeting, and cash burn analysis. Determine the appropriate processes, methodologies, variables, and modeling techniques to develop and deliver forecasts. Develop reports and monitor metrics for forecasting
  • Design, automate, and optimize flexible FP&A processes to meet the needs of a dynamic and fast-growing business environment
  • Own, refine and implement financial systems and tools to track company’s KPIs, performance and provide reporting to enhance operational insights

Ideally you'd have

  • Minimum of 10 years of financial analysis experience working directly in  Corporate Finance, FP&A, Strategic Finance, and / or investment banking
  • 4 years of experience in a highly strategic, analytical and operational role within a rapidly growing company
  • Deep understanding of B2B SaaS businesses 
  • Experience improving and streamlining processes, and developing solutions to operational inefficiencies
  • Demonstrated excellent project management skills, ability to manage and manipulate large data sets, critically analyze existing processes, and identify opportunities for process improvement
  • Strong knowledge of Google Suite, MS Office; expert Excel modeling skills and Salesforce 
  • Strong executive presence and interpersonal skills; ability to lead discussions with the Executive Team 
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and grow a high functioning Finance team and deliver quality results as a team leader
  • Demonstrated ability to build outstanding and effective relationships with cross-functional teams
  • Experience with financial systems (e.g. Anaplan, Adaptive Insights)


  • A Bachelor’s degree with a major in Finance and/or Accounting
  • IPO experience a plus
  • Experience in SQL and Business Intelligence tools a plus
