Lead Product Manager - Growth

Scale is at the forefront of enabling Machine Learning across multiple industries. As the lead growth product manager, you’ll be a part of a growth team that is responsible for enabling the development of machine learning. You’ll own the growth of our labeling platform, grow our tasker workforce that’ll enable the creation of training data for our customers. The better the tasker workforce is, the better the data will be.

In this role, you will tactically help drive growth across our digital platform with prospective labelers and taskers during various data production cycles for our customers. The lead growth product manager owns all aspects of the Tasker Experience (Remotasks) and features. You will help lead any and all products that directly support the tasker experience (e.g. allocation algorithms). You will rigorously execute across growth opportunities to support the Scale Growth Team's goals of acquiring, onboarding, training, and engaging taskers across multiple projects. You will be responsible for the identification of opportunities, sizing them, running experiments where applicable. You will own the roadmap for our tasker growth.  This role is critical to increasing Scale's acquisition, engagement, and retention of taskers, and your success will be the company's success in enabling the next generation of A.I.

You Will

  • Own the digital platform with our labeling workforce.
  • Own the user experience of our taskers, and understand the user funnel end to end.
  • Drive feature development and all product work related to the tasker experience.
  • Be a key leader in our growth team.


  • 2+ years of working in growth specifically, running experiments across acquisition, engagement, retention in competitive industries where growth makes a difference (gaming, consumer internet, double-sided marketplaces)
  • 5+ years of product management experience for consumer internet or similar companies where design is a critical element
  • A strong product and design sense.  Knows from experience what works, and when to fix, when to experiment.
  • Excellent ability to "size the prize" and ruthlessly prioritize across multiple competing opportunities
  • Customer-first mentality.  Always do right by whoever is using the product 
  • Data-driven approach.  Able to dig deep, iterate quickly, and find data to support plans or experiments
  • Excellent communication skills and good process/collaboration skills to help manage existing processes, and make net new improvements.

Nice to have:

  • Solid experience with growth and user funnels, knowledge of experimentation and instrumentation tools
  • A clear understanding of LTV/CAC and typical low hanging fruit across user funnels
  • Hands-on experience of SQL, Tableau, Webflow, and design tools is a definite plus
  • Sciences degree preferred; most importantly, the ideal candidate must be very deep in understanding consumer internet technology and its applications, some AI experience a plus but not required
